5. to endeavor to induce or persuade, as by entreaties; entreat or exhort earnestly: to urge a person to greater caution.

One player missing out on the urge chart is newcomer Ernie Cooksey. On 26 January, Cooksey ‘challenged’ the United players, but crucially did not ‘urge’ them – and thus has been contentiously omitted from the chart on a technicality.
